We've reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott in Emeryville, providing you with a small discount. Or, at least we thought we were, but currently you can get a cheaper rate online, so we recommend that route instead - at least for now. Maybe check the rates online, then give them a call? Sorry, we tried!

If you decide to give it a try, just call one of the numbers above and ask for the Rible/Mendelson room block. We also ask that you please let us know that you will be staying there - with or without the block - so that we can keep track of the guest count, either by phone (650.364.8868) or email: franrible@sbcglobal.net. Also, let us know if the Marriott says there are no more rooms available in our block - it doesn't get increased automatically.

The Marriott requests that you please make your reservations by Friday, October 10, 2008 in order to get the discounted rate. We suggest you book as soon as possible, because rooms are already filling up for that weekend.

We are working on providing a bus or shuttle of some kind to and from Chabot that will leave from the Courtyard parking lot. You will be able to use this even if you don't stay at the Courtyard. Click here to sign up for the shuttle service.  

This is a beautiful hotel we thought you may enjoy, though very pricey. The bride's family was going to stay here, but decided to save money stay with the larger group at the first hotel.

If you decide not to stay at the Marriott, you can still head over there to catch the bus/shuttle we will be providing to and from Chabot.
